Milestone reached - 100th financial member

The Friends have reached a significant milestone with the signing of our 100th financial member on 26 April 2009.  Formed in May 2007, to reach 100 members in less than two years augurs well for our future and testimony of the hard work and commitment to seeing the Friends play an important role in promoting the Cheltenham cemeteries.

Roll-Up Banner

The Friends have been successful in our grant application for a roll-up banner valued at $250. As one of the few affiliated member societies to participate in History Week 2008, we are grateful to the Royal Historical Society of Victoria Inc. and the Vera Moore Foundation for their recognition of our work. The banner will be available in time for History Week 2009 in October and we look forward to unveiling it on one of our tours.
