The Friends of Cheltenham and Regional Cemeteries Inc. recognise the importance of protecting the privacy of our members, supporters and visitors to our website.

We do not supply any personal information to third parties unless otherwise stated below.

When you visit our website, information is collected only when knowingly and voluntarily submitted.

When you use the enquiry form to become a supporter, your personal information is recorded on our supporters' database to enable us to provide you with a copy of our newsletter.  You will also be contacted from time to time on matters relating to the Friends of Cheltenham and Regional Cemeteries Inc.  You may request to be removed from our supporters' database at any time.

When you use the enquiry form to submit a research request, your personal information is not recorded on our supporters' database.  Your personal information will be retained on file with a copy of your research request and any material that we supply.  In the event that a third party contacts the Friends of Cheltenham and Regional Cemeteries Inc. requesting information on the same grave that we have already researched for you, we will seek permission from the third party to provide his/her contact details to you.  Your contact details will not be provided to anyone at any stage.  You reserve the right to refuse to make contact with the third party.

When you use the enquiry form to make a booking to our walking tours or similar events, your personal information is only recorded if you indicate that you wish to be kept informed of future tours.  You may request to be removed from our database at any time.  We will record your name and contact number/email address for the purpose of organising the event.  This information may be supplied to a third party who is involved with the event.

Each unique visitor to our web site contributes to statistics that are collected by the Friends of Cheltenham and Regional Cemeteries Inc.  This information cannot be used to identify who you are.  We use this information to monitor our web site for the purpose of making improvements.  The information collected by our web server consists of the number of visitors to our web site, the date and time of the visit, what pages were accessed, search engine requests, traffic patterns and the type of web browser and operating system you use.
